The original and only one in Ithaca (no affiliations) since 2001, Taste of Thai is an independently owned and operated local restaurant that offers superior quality and truly authentic Thai cuisine prepared by skilled, experienced chefs and presented by friendly, professional staff. With an ambience boasting unique but unobtrusive Thai artifacts (sculptures, carvings, paintings, tapestries, statutes, and floral arrangements) Taste of Thai is
well-suited to both casual and fine dining. Linen tablecloths and napkins and elegant Thai-design china add to the dining pleasure.

Taste of Thai is conveniently located on The Commons in downtown Ithaca, just a short walking distance from major
hotels, shops, entertainment centers, and parking garages.

With a 99-guest seating capacity, Taste of Thai is able to host large-group as well as couples’ dine-ins. Reservations are suggested.

Specially selected wines and imported and domestic beers complement the special sauces and ingredients used to prepare the Thai food dishes. Vegetarian, vegan, and wheat-free selections are available for most dishes.

The catering arm of Taste of Thai prepares Thai food dishes from the extensive dinner menu—75 separate items—for a variety of events, large and small, including weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, holiday get-togethers, fraternity and sorority functions, special recognition events and retirements, graduations and welcomes, and student, staff and faculty functions.
